RStyles team organised a session at ESA RN21 Mid-term Meeting in Salamanca, Spain

On 5th – 9th of October 2022 the RStyles team took part in Educational Sociological Association Research Network 21 Mid-term Meeting (ESA RN21), organised in Salamanca, Spain.

Prof. Artur Pokropek presented a paper: Mouse Chase: Detecting Careless and Unmotivated Responders Using Cursor Movements in Web-based Surveys.

Dr. Tomasz Żółtak talked about newly-developed R package in a talk entitled: Loglimer: Workflow for Log-data Collection and Processing.

Dr. Marek Muszyński presented results of teams’ new experiemnt: Validating Computer-based Paradata Process Indicators Under Different Task Difficulty in Web-based Surveys.

Additionally, Prof. Pokropek organised and presented the whole session about Log-data indices, in which Prof. Ulf Kroehne (DIPF, Frankfurt am Main) also took part with an interesting talk on Comparability of Process Indicators Using the Example of Dis-Engaged Responding (co-author: Prof. Frank Goldhammer).

Moreover, Marek Muszyński participated in workshop Introduction to Computational Social Science: Application of Machine Learning Approaches to Text and Survey Analytics.

Salamanca charmed us with its beauty and was a place of interesting professional meetings. It was a good conference!
